These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the services provided by Sand and Sun Electrical, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") to you ("Customer," "you," or "your"). By requesting or accepting electrical services from Sand and Sun Electrical, you agree to these Terms.

Licensing & Qualifications
Sand and Sun Electrical, LLC is a licensed and insured electrical contractor operating under Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ROC) License #343455. All work is performed by or under the direct supervision of a master electrician with over 26 years of experience.
Service Area
We serve the Phoenix Metropolitan area, including Goodyear, Buckeye, Surprise, Litchfield Park, Sun City, Scottsdale, and surrounding West Valley communities. Service availability outside this area is at our discretion.
Estimates & Pricing
- We provide free estimates for most electrical work.
- Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date provided unless otherwise stated.
- Final pricing may differ from the estimate if the actual scope of work differs from what was assessed during the initial evaluation. We will communicate any changes before proceeding.
- Emergency and after-hours service may be subject to additional charges, which will be disclosed before work begins.
Written Contracts (Arizona Requirement)
In accordance with Arizona Revised Statute §32-1158, any project with a total contract value exceeding $1,000 (including labor, materials, and applicable taxes) will be documented with a written contract that includes:
- Contractor name, business address, and ROC license number
- Customer name, mailing address, and job site address
- Date the contract is entered into
- Description of the work to be performed
- Estimated date of completion
- Total dollar amount including all applicable taxes
- Dollar amount of any advance deposit
- Dollar amount and stage of any progress payments
Notice to Property Owner
You have the right to file a written complaint with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors for an alleged violation of A.R.S. §32-1154(A). Complaints must be made within the time period set forth in A.R.S. §32-1162(A).

Scheduling & Access
- We will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the scheduled time window. Delays due to prior jobs running over, weather, or emergencies may occur, and we will notify you as soon as possible.
- You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the work area, including clearing personal items, securing pets, and ensuring adequate workspace.
- If we arrive at a scheduled appointment and are unable to access the property or work area, a trip charge may apply.
Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon completion of work unless other arrangements are agreed to in writing.
- We accept cash, check, credit card, and electronic payment (Zelle, Venmo).
- For larger projects, a deposit and/or progress payments may be required as outlined in the written contract.
- Past-due invoices are subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month.
Permits & Inspections
- Many electrical projects require permits from the local jurisdiction. When a permit is required, we will obtain it on your behalf and include the cost in the project estimate.
- We coordinate inspections with the local building authority as required.
- Customers should not request that work be performed without required permits. We will not perform unpermitted work.
Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about existing electrical systems, known issues, and any previous work performed on the property.
- Inform us of any health or safety hazards at the job site before work begins (e.g., asbestos, mold, structural instability).
- Ensure someone 18 years of age or older is available at the property during scheduled work.
Changes to Scope of Work
- If additional work is discovered during a project that was not included in the original estimate or contract, we will stop and discuss the additional scope and cost with you before proceeding.
- Verbal change orders should be confirmed in writing (text or email is acceptable) to avoid misunderstandings.
Cancellation Policy
- You may cancel a scheduled appointment with at least 24 hours' notice at no charge.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice are subject to a cancellation fee of $150.
- For contracted projects, cancellation terms will be outlined in the written contract.
Limitation of Liability
Sand and Sun Electrical's liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Customer for the specific work giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions, damage caused by prior contractors, or issues arising from Customer-supplied materials or equipment.
Dispute Resolution
We believe in resolving concerns directly and professionally. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our work, please contact us first so we can address the issue. For workmanship disputes, you also have the right to file a complaint with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors (see the Written Contracts section above for contact details). If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Maricopa County, Arizona.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
